The 2021 K-State Swine Day was extremely successful! There were over 450 producers and allied industry reps from 17 states in attendance, along with Kansas State University students, faculty and staff represented at the KSU Alumni Center. Throughout the event, several participants commented on the great program and fellowship that was shared.
Thirty-seven exhibitors along with 16 sponsors shared their new technology during the trade show and were complimentary of the opportunity to interact with pork producers and students,
During the day, K-State faculty and graduate students presented updates on applied research findings and two KSU Alumni, Dr. Roger Main, Director of Diagnostic Labs at Iowa State University, and Dr. Jon De Jong, President of Pipestone Nutrition, provided industry updates.
