Over 300 6th-grade students from Northwest Middle School in Kansas City participated in a career exploration activity that gave them the opportunity to talk with professionals from many different industries.

KPA staff was part of the fast-paced event, which allowed students to visit with professionals in eight-minute increments to learn about their career and ask questions.

The event was organized by Prep-KC, whose mission is to create and implement strategies to improve college and career preparation for Kansas City’s urban students.
