The Kansas Department of Agriculture (KDA) will be hosting a two-day tabletop exercise for state and federal agencies, along with pork industry representatives, to work through a scenario related to an outbreak of African Swine Fever.
The exercise will be held April 25th and 26th at the Rim Rock Conference Center, 7003 Tuttle Creek Boulevard, Manhattan. There is no fee to attend and lunch will be provided both days. Registration is requested by April 18th. Click here to register.
KDA has allocated funds to assist producers attending the exercise with the cost of a hotel room. One hotel room per operation can be paid for by KDA for one night.
